Growing the Machine Economy isn’t just about building — it’s about sharing, amplifying, and getting the word out.

That’s where the Get Real Yapper Leaderboard comes in.

Launched today in a collaboration between peaq and Kaito, this Leaderboard rewards people for helping spread the word about the Machine Economy. Whether you’re sharing updates, sparking conversation, or set crypto X on fire with your meme game, your social media activity can now help you get real rewards.

It’s part of the social layer of Get Real — and it’s live before Season 2 of the campaign even begins, like a warm-up before a marathon. It’s meant to replace the dedicated biggest accounts leaderboard of Get Real, but not the regular social quests in the upcoming campaign.

A New Way to Get Rewards

The Get Real Yapper Leaderboard is a new way to participate in Get Real — peaq’s token-incentivized campaign driving Machine Economy adoption and growth.

The leaderboard tracks top community voices across social media — rewarding them with PEAQ tokens based on their ranking each season.

It’s simple: the more your content spreads, resonates, and drives engagement, the higher you climb. And the higher you climb, the more rewards you get.

Get Real was always designed to give everyone a chance — rewarding both everyday participants and those with high reach, with separate leaderboards for both to ensure an even playing field. The Get Real Yapper Leaderboard is focused on people with larger platforms and stronger social reach, giving them a dedicated space to compete for rewards. That way, those without massive audiences still have an equal shot at boosting their rewards via social quests when Season 2 launches later in the year.

The Breakdown: Seasons, Rewards, and Allocation

The Get Real Yapper Leaderboard is live now. It will run for 11 months.

In total, 0.55% of peaq’s genesis supply is allocated to the Get Real Yapper Leaderboard and will be distributed to top participants over the course of these 11 months.

Each month, participants at the top of the board earn real rewards:

0.04% of $PEAQ’s genesis supply is distributed to those at the top of that Season’s leaderboard
0.01% goes to the broader Kaito ecosystem

It’s a steady way to earn rewards by doing what you already do — sharing, posting, and driving awareness about the Machine Economy.

And with Season 2 of Get Real set to launch in Q4, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Code of Conduct

To ensure that the campaign drives meaningful conversations and drives the Machine Economy’s mindshare in a sustainable and healthy way, the participants are required to follow the campaign’s Code of Conduct:

Quality, not spam:
- Avoid AI-generated spam. Only genuine content that is accurate, valuable, insightful and/or relevant will be considered.
Relevant Tagging and Mentions:
- Only tag @peaq when the content genuinely discusses peaq, its ecosystem, or related projects. Tags in unrelated content will be disqualified.
- The use of "peaq" out of context meant solely to boost engagement or for leaderboard rank will be disqualified.
Meaningful Engagement:
- Engage authentically. Avoid “botting” or using automated or AI-generated comments that don't genuinely respond to or contribute to the original content. Accounts artificially boosting engagement will be disqualified

Important: Accounts breaking these guidelines or found to be using other exploits will be reviewed and may be removed from the leaderboard and disqualified from receiving rewards in all future Get Real Yapper Leaderboard Seasons. The rules apply from Month 2 (August 2025) and on.

Additionally, Kaito has introduced a new reputation threshold to further bolster the quality of the campaigns on the platform. Only higher-reputation accounts will be qualified for the Creator Leaderboard. The platform is also introducing stronger anti-farming filters, which will also help to ensure only quality content scores.
