What’s New in Season 2?
Season 1 saw the campaign in its beta, bringing thousands of peaqonauts together—and leaving us with some lessons learned. For Season 2, Get Real got an end-to-end revamp. Here’s what’s different:
- Total performance upgrade — The backend has been upgraded to scale for growing demand, so that nothing gets between you and quests.
- Mobile-ready — You can now complete quests from anywhere, and mobile-first apps can provide a full-fledged Get Real experience from a single device.
- New ways to earn — Machine DeFi quests are live, rewarding you for providing liquidity and swaps on peaq.
Season 2 is all about making it easier to join the Machine Economy and explore it hands-on, with rewards for its contributors.
The peaqonaut [2424] NFTs won’t be joining us in Season 2 — but don’t worry, they’re out there somewhere — waiting for the right moment to make a comeback. We want to make sure that when they do return, they return in full glory.
How to Join Season 2
Important: Make sure to use the same email address for your Get Real account and your profiles with apps on peaq to ensure your progress is traceable. If you already have an account with any of the participating apps, please use the same email address when setting up your campaign account.
Getting started is simple — whether you’re here for the first time or returning from Season 1.
- Sign up or log in to Get Real.
- Connect your wallet.
- Complete quests to climb the leaderboard.
- Earn rewards.
No lengthy onboarding. Just connect, contribute, and get rewarded — anywhere, anytime.
The sooner you start completing quests, the higher your chance to earn rewards. So don’t wait. Get started, collect XP, and climb the leaderboard. Note that the rewards will be vested this time— a one-month cliff, then three-month linear vesting. This way, a healthy reward distribution is ensured, keeping things steady as the campaign goes on and gives the Machine Economy on peaq a major boost.

Kicking the Machine Economy Growth Flywheel into Higher Gear
Season 2 is set to give a powerful boost to peaq and the peaqosystem, churning up an increase in onchain activity and liquidity for peaq. It will bring more machines onchain and will give more people a hands-on experience of using real-world apps on peaq — rewards always help with getting into the groove, after all. More machines and users means more transactions, and more transactions means more network fees to power peaq’s Growth Flywheel.
The campaign will also incentivize more people to lock their tokens on validator nodes, earning rewards for making peaq even more secure and decentralized. It will boost the liquidity across the Machine DeFi protocols on peaq, including MachineX. The campaign amplifies all of peaq’s existing growth mechanisms, driving momentum across the board.
